Beauty: DIY Bronzing Cream
12:00 AM Prueba 0 Comments
Summer is the perfect time to rock skirts and shorts, but it's always best to prepare and show a little sun kissed skin than your milky self. (Well, that applies to me) It is a thousand times more attractive, and your legs will look more stylish and toned up. Either way sun tanning can't be Plan A anymore because of the atmosphere condiciones and huge amount of UV light we absorbe daily that in excesos is causing the increasing rate of skin cancer in the entire world.
-Bronzing Powder
-Cream
The bronzing powder may be cheap, because you ares gong to gradually mix it with the cream, so it isn't sorth investing. Nevertheless make it matches your skin color. It shouldn't be too shiny, dark or orange, but give a little extra glow to your skin and even your face with your body.
Following up, you should put cream in a container and gradually add the powder until you reach the desired tone and .... Voilà !
There you have your new tanning cream!
It's healthier, easier and cheaper than any other!
Have fun getting sun kissed!
It's not you, It's me

Getting to that level of consciousness can be a big challenge, but is not as complicated as it seems. It becomes much easier when we realize that our own happiness is at stake, and someone elses mind, thoughts, comments or decisions is definitely the worst place to place it.
Every day I am more convinced that men suffer, not for what happens, but for what he interprets. Many times we suffer trying to give answers to questions that drilled our mind such as: Why didn't he/she call me? Does he/she think about me? Why didn't he/she tell me what I wanted to hear? Why did that bother me? Why did they stare at me in that ugly way? and many others reasons I will skip.
We don't suffer because of what people do, but because of what we interpret from their actions, and that's a direct result of giving control to someone else.
"I need Luis to tell me that he loves me even though I know that's a lie I just want to hear it from his mouth and have him visit me from time to time even though I know he has another family, because I promise you that I can settle with that. Without it... I feel like I'm dying. "
Wow! I could not belive it! Does that really mean true happiness? Isn't it a constant martyrdom to have someone deciding our mood and well-being? You want to force another person to feel what he clearly doesn't?
A man is able to snatch everything except one thing: The last of human freedoms is the choice of personal attitude against a target or determined path"

Beauty: 5 Makeup Faux Pas!
12:00 AM Prueba 0 Comments
So after research and reading here I've gattered the 5 makeup faux pas we all do of which we must be aware to polish our technique.
It's just some friendly advise.... Happy Beauty Wednesday!
Applying it after foundation can have a counter effect and instead of concealing imperfections will only accentuate them. Now, as tempting as it may be to just smudge it under the eyes and make those stress(designer) bags dissapear that will have a reverse-racoon effect.
Tilt your head down in front of the mirror instead, to see where the shadows actually fall and then conceal that area.
I personally don't like it because many women don't use the right shade, still it is very good to make color last longer and give a cleaner silhouette.
The correct way to apply it is not by starting from one corner and dragging it all the way to the other one, but by making an X at your cupid's bow and then adding a dash to the center of your bottom lip. Afterwards draw a sideways V in each corner conect and obtain fierce lips.

Thank god it's friday and I suppose some of you are watching or enjoying the World Cup.
Well, I'm not a soccer fan but might as well watch a game where Matt Hummels appears (Oops soccer crush haha)
So I'm here blogging about my last obsession while drinking some Green tea. Oh yeah, there's no better decompression than this.
6 Seasons, two weeks and I finally know why everybody is soooo in love with Chuck Bass.
Ok now I'm traumatized with him, but truth is I started watching the show because they told me fashion was a key element.
I'm not a TV-series kind of girl, or at least wasn't. I don't find myself every week waiting for the next chapter to be broadcast, I'm always doing tons of things that don't allow me to be there every week at the same time and watch TV. But Netflix is your best friend if you need flexible hours so here I am now becoming a fan of all sorts of dramas.
I was waiting for Fashion and more Fashion to emerge. But no. It wasn't Sex&TheCity or the Carrie Diaries where mostly everything revolves around it.
This was a drama about the Upper East Side. Dear god, the parties, the dresses, the food, the place.... Oh New York... is there anything better than that?
Nope. SO I started watching and loving every single sheme from Blair and Dorotha although I found them very cruel and Serena, always a little confussed trying to choose which guys was the most suitable for her.
Well the story continued and the most symbolic locations in the city poped up. The Oak Room, The Russian Tea Room, The Waldorf Astoria and of course Bergdorf Goodman... and that's where it came clear that it wasn't about the clothes but the allure they brought to the scenes so.
In conclusión I love the series. Its true one should work like a Humphrey, think like a Bass, behave like a Waldorf and dress like a Van Der Woodsen.
Probably dress like a Bass to if you are a guy, because his style evolution is pristine. From ugly-scarf-jackass to ... well... Chuck Bass.
So If I had to round up to 10 style lessons we could learn from this series those would be:
Make coats and patterned tights a part of your outfits.
Never be afraid to mix & match.
Wear sequins day and night. One crazy piece the others toned down.
Flip flops are not shoes.
Become BFF with a tailor.
A Blazer is your must have piece.
The more statement necklaces the merrier.
Total Black looks are something you can't go wrong with.
Either wear heels or oxfords.
In the end it's not about the clothes, but the attitude.

Of course we can add to this the STYLE factor and there we'll have the perfect summer.
Perhaps one of my biggest dreams is to travel without baggage limit and dress in a very sophisticated and chic way while visiting any place. Each city has a different style and atmosphere to be taken into account. No questions ask, you have to get and absorb the energy of each iconic location.
That's the ultimate travel commandments. Make each city your home for a short period of time. So you become like Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca "a citizen of the world"
Dresses, pants, turbans, heels, sneakers ... how difficult is choosing the perfect choice. But in the end you are free to do as you please. Turn into a wanderess, like Roman Payne would say, free in her wildness belonging to no man and to no city. (Nothing against boys, I'm just quoting here :P)
Below you'll find 6 of the most exhilarating and amazing cities around the globe among a few of my favourites.
Places I would love to go and places I've been and would love to live in. Enjoy!

I still don't wear makeup daily, but I certainly can't leave the house without gloss and a bit of mascara. Lipgloss is like the first step a girl takes to feel feminine... Don't you remember your first gloss? I do! It was from Victoria's Secret, and I remember it because my Daddy took me to the huge store in NYC to pick some. Of course, the appeal lay in the fact that each had a different flavor. However like everything at an early age .. the taste for them disappeared with a stomach ache for having tried over 20 of them.
When you grow up, your needs change. You are no longer looking for the sweet caramel flavor, but also the look and I was very lucky to ran into this NARS Lipgloss from the Larger Than Life collection which I can only describe as soft, luscious and juicy.
This shade, International Velvet is my favourite. At first it reminded me at bubblegum, but after putting it on it gave a very rich yet discretely cute volumen and shine to my lips!
Probably one of the best products to achieve the wanted natural look and of course perfect to take everywhere from the beach to the city!
It lasts about 4 hours, which is quite amazing for a gloss and keeps your lips moisturized!
Very cool, chic and delicious!
One of my beauty essentials for the summer!

Life Time Achievement was given to the most handsome and talented of all... Tom Ford! (BRAVO!!! He is myy ultimate Fashion crush)
Rihanna was by far the most memorable of the night presented with the Fashion Icon Award by Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour who Praised abitur the musician for her captivating stories to tell through the boldness and beauty of clothes.
I quite rrespect what Anna Wintour dictates, but to be an icon one must be elegant, classy and memorable. Rihanna might be the last, but her latest attire at the red carpet was everything but elegant. It made her look like a very expensive escort... Quite a pity.
Change

But as radicate as the transformation may be, I've noticed that it had taken place a while ago. I was craving for a new look, when in fact after thinking, writting and even kidding myself about it with bang trims, I've suffered from a huge conversion already. Now I feel more like myself, maybe because I look like the person I've become.
It's hard to see a transformation when we keep living in the same mundane rutine, however in retrospective this has been a year of growth and it has become clear in one of those simple moments of lucidity that we rarely get, where we notice that although we find ourselves in a place that has not changed, attend the same classes or have the same job, the way we see things is different.
My style has changed too. I have trained my eye to be curious and see the aesthetics of the world in a different more vibrant way.
I feel brave and don't hide in my hair anymore. This long bob was so unexpected, refreshing and somehow a dignifying representation of the renew or die motto. Now I'm no longer afraid of change.
I've become aware of my strenghts and flaws and have accepted the fact that being me and feeling good about myself because of it is alright.
Maybe, when I feel this urge again I'll go short -er ... nevertheless this look was a perfect choice for the season and if we look it from the Fashion side, a very trendy choice as well.
I would really encourage you to go for it. I can tell you that it simply comes from within, a month ago I woke up and new I needed to do it. Even the adrenaline rush when I saw my braid on the floor felt fine.
I took advantage of everything and decided to donate my hair to a good cause where It'll be used to make wigs for girls with cancer. In the end it all felt great.
So, if you feel like you need a change do it. For you, for a shift in your life, a forgotten love or a sophisticated appeal... in the end the change starts from within so you have nothing to worry about.
Remember that if we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we aren't really living.
And I stand by what I had previously said... Human beings always need a change.
Call it developement, evolution, rebellion or whatever you like, but one thing is certain; this doesn't need to be a social, it might be an inner revolution manifest by something as "little" as a hair cut.

Well, why don't go back to nature and prepare something as tasty and good as there can be.
Oatmeal mask
Suitable for all skin types, this simple treatment will cleanse and revitalise your skin.
You need:
1 tablespoon of oatmeal
1 tablespoon of natural (unflavoured) yoghurt

Combine the yoghurt and oatmeal using your fingers. Run boiling water over a spoon, and then add a few drops of honey to the spoon – this will warm and soften the honey. Stir it into the yoghurt/oatmeal mixture, and then apply the mask to your face and neck. Leave for 10 minutes before removing with a cool face cloth.
Avocado & Orange mask
This rich mix helps to restore moisture and nourish dry, flaky skin. It also lasts up to two days in the fridge if you have any leftover mixture.
You need:
3 tablespoons of avocado
1 teaspoon of honey
50 ml orange juice
A few drops of essential oil, such as chamomile
Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl, blending them together with your hands. Use your fingers to spread a thick layer all over your face and neck, and leave for at least 30 minutes. Rinse off with a warm face cloth.
Banana honey mask
A soothing face mask that smells great, this treatment is ideal for those who want to get rid of blackheads.
You need:
1 ripe banana
1 Tablespoon honey
1/4 orange or lemon, or a splash orange juice
